Awesome, except for his right arm, looks funny to me. I think its exaggerated too much
i agree with audiodoc!
but other than that looks cool
Very Wayne Reynolds...
I like it
It's a weird thing really, It was exaggerated alot more originally, and I made it look more realistic, but then all the energy vanished from the piece, so I exaggerated it a little bit more gain and end up with this.
Thank you though
Very cool but you need to bring his shoulder joint in line with the collar bone. If you keep that exact pose...his entire right arm should be hidden. Good colors though!
nice work man. the angle is good & very atmospheric. keep doing things like this & share them on board good luck.
Commission for client.
"Sanguinius holding the Ultimate Gate on Terra during the Horus Heresy".
Followed clients wishes pretty close on this, including the size of the central character (in comparison to everyone else).
Shown at 16% of the original size of the painting (of the resolution the client gets).
wow, I like this last one way more than the others, it has some "warhammer" look, in the composition, the colors, and the concept design...cool!!
cool work man , wish that last one had more gore in it , like dead bodies and blood and maybe the lighting should be a lil stronger at the top
my sketch book NuSex's- http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...28#post1723528

Competition-entry from DeviantArt.com.
Out of 10000+ entries it was picked to be amongst the 50 semi-finalists, but did not end up among the top four.
We sell this at our redbubble account ( studiocolrouphobia ).
hahah I wonder who your "private" client could be?
I have absolutely noooo idea.
I love the Sanguinus, pretty epic stuff
Overall, love your stuff guys, gals. (not sure who is at your studio, don't want to assume).
The last piece, however, I think the blue white clouds are really competing with the yellow sun. They are both about the same value, despite being different chroma, hue. I would darken the clouds just ever so slightly and let the sun really become the focus of backlighting the monster and warrior.

Posting some personal work.
Aeos Danna are sometimes referred to as the people of the godess Danu (i.e. sidhe and other fair folk), I have also seen it referred to as the israelites and "people of the arts".
What I know of the Aeos Danna, though, as a meere scholar in Old Irish mythology, is that it was the internal name given to what we nowadays would call Druids.
This painting is supposed to be somethng mythic, somethiing mystic and something magic.
I find that it has some traits that make me think of Ireland or Scotland, and thus I call it "Aeos Danna".
Interpret it however you will.
Also two crops showing the 100% size of the painting.
This is completely done, from start till finish, in Photoshop.
Amazing work - I love seeing wh40k pieces done well.
New Personal work.
Needed to do something else- Picked Orcs...
Obviously I'm a fan of Warhammer 40k and so it became one of their orks.
Freebooters are weird Orks, they wear pirate-clothing and are extravagant in the extreme. None are so Extravagant as the Flashgitz.
This here is a Flashgit with his pet-grot.
First job I did for Fantasy Flight Games was a character-piece called King Kommisar. It was for the "Lure of the Expanse" book which has been out for a while. Just found out today that I am allowed to show this. This is what came out of it.
Very grateful for the shot FFG has given me to work on 40k stuff since I started sketching and painting some 15 years ago with the goal to "one day work for Games Workshop on Warhammer 40k-stuff".
Rogue Trader and Warhammer 40k are (C) FFG and Games Workshop respectively for any and all purposes.

Just want to say I followed your work on illuminatius and then followed one of your links here.
So you helped me without even knowing me.

Followed the link from your sketchbook to here and again I am blown away by the quality of work you can produce. Excellent stuff.
