This image is done. But it feels a little incomplete. Im actually pretty satisfied. but i think i should share it with the general public.
The goal to the image was to illustrate a title to a flash game im making
called "fear unlimited issue 2 - fire and ice"
this is also the first image ive made with corel painter, as opposed to photoshop.
the image ie "fire and ice" is the main protagonist being illustrated as a dual personality/dual bodied character.anyways id like to hear what im doing right. what im doing wrong etc. and if theres any tips with painter id love to hear em lol.
I used mostly the acryllic brush.
anyhow i hope the image is enjoyed. and hopefully ill get better with painter
oh i actually meant to post this into "its finally finished" if thats even an option. oh well . i suppose criticism wont hurt either haha
Two things came to mind when I first saw it
One is that the fire half of him you cant see his face, yet fire is a light source basically, so his face should have some illumination to it
The other thing is the ice side, to me right now it just looks like light and not a solid object, perhaps show so crystallization to help identify it as ice
If the fire wasn't there and it all looked like the ice side I wouldn't be able to tell it was ice
Oh and the Finally Finished sections basically for professional quality works
You'll see some posts that aren't professional looking but thats just because the moderators missed moving them
ah alright. i thought it was for "finished" in general. Notes taken. I figured i should highlight the left side of the face as well. friends generally thought it looked cool as is. Im gonna move on to newer projects but will work on finishing this up with free time
