I want to buy a plastic/rubber head that shows the basic planes of the head/face.
I have seen them before but I am having a hard time trying to find one online.
The ones I have seen are gray.
Also looking for a 3D model head that is a generic male/female that I can get for free....to use in Maya.
Anyone have any suggestions?
unknown on the planes sculpt, however on the maya head, you'd probably not have a hard time finding a free one but why not make your own? it might be easier than you think to just create one w/ some guides/tutorials.
internets are good.
Try googling for a zbrush base mesh on forums. There is at least one quite nice (albeit simple) one out there.
For the physical one - anatomy models on ebay? (new ones are pricey)
... or a polystyrene mannequin head (~£10) - I had to stick mine on the disk sander though - because it was freakish.
