Me too. I see the words "fan art" and I make a little involuntary moaning noise. But these are excellent! "Training day" is my favorite -- how you got rain to fall properly out of the vanishing point, I do not know.

maybe its because of some of the stuff i see over on DA, but i tend to cringe when i see 'fan art.'

However, these are all exceptional. my only crit is just a knit. in the first one, jabba's right eye appears to be looking more into the foreground. i think this is because the edge of the iris is so dark and looks like the pupil in the smaller version. i had to look at it three times before i saw it correctly.

these should all be prints.

Training Day is aaaaweeesome.

The concept work on your site is top notch as well. I've always been obsessed with those environments from the "lost gallery." Reminds me of Dark City.

I dig them all! Love the compositions too, especially on 'The Trophy'. Modern masterpieces.

These are all great. I love the physique of the dancing girl by Jabba. The lighting on the Rancor looks great, but I'm a little curious about how his face is being lit vs where the light is coming from. Nice blood on the lens effect as well.

Gorgeous... just one assholian question for "Prototype".

----geek alert starting----

If it is a prototype and is in "dry dock" why is it raining inside the hangar OR why do they have the prototype outside? In my memory of Star Wars I would have assumed that this ship would have been built / stored / prototyped on the Death Star itself?

Sorry to be an ubergeek about this... sure I think it adds a sense of drama, but it doesn't make a lot of practical sense to me.

----geek alert over----

Other than that... brilliant. I love the Rancor, one of my favorite creatures of all time. Some great stuff!!!

thank you very much!!! I am flattered!

I am sorry, my messages are as short as my English is bad

Verithin >> in fact, for me, this "rain" is the last shower of cooling on the TIE, still hot to just left the factory. Vader is impatient to try his new toy. something of the small Anakin survives in him.
I did that in reference to the "Alien" film. when Brett seeking the cat, he arrives in a big room of the Nostromo. the condensation creates a kind of rain into the starship. very esthetic. I love this scene. I love this film

If you get the right conditions it can actually rain inside of large spaces, like a domed stadium or , I suppose, a space ship hangar.

oh yeah, and I love the paintings as well.

Thanks for pandering to my ubergeekdom. My apologies for derailing the thread on such a nitpicking point. I see what you're getting at now and emulating that scene from Aliens works... but, like you need my approval!

Great stuff!!!
