a) I really like it!
b) all Summer? Srsly?
I was once on the receiving end of a critique so savagely nasty, I marched straight out of class to the office and changed my major (sketchbook).
yeah this was originally prismacolor pencil, but later I went back and smudged it in ps
Please visit this forum. its a tight ass place thats actually active
Keep drawing... And keep painting!
My Sketchbook Critiques please!
The tentacles definitely have a good 'ewwyness' factor. It makes me feel uncomfortable looking at it, which is good.
It's too smudgy. You've got some good definition in the center of the tentacle thingy, but otherwise it just looks unfinished to me. If you could the apply the same level of finish to the rest of the picture, it would be much better, I think.
I agree with the guy above me Hai!, that would be a really good idea to try out, but other than that I still think your piece is good Its really interesting to look at
I see what you mean, I didn't want everything to be too sharp but I did overdo it a little with the foot.
anyways thanks everyone!
nice work ;D
The ground looks out of focus where it should be in focus. I don't think the smudge is on the tentacles or the foot, it's the blur from the floor that's throwing it off. This definitely rules though.
wow, very cool!
