Heya Metal Mike,
I did 100 gestures this time
"Never regret thy fall from grace, O' spirit of Icarian flight, for the greatest tragedy of them all to face, is to never feel the burning bright"
Believe my lies, for I tell the truth about them. Or would you rather me lie about telling the truth?

just got back, i'll try to do something small for this one, but can't promise.
Old sketchbook: 0shade0
I know, it's minimalist and not quite up to par, but I have attempted to do some different things. I need to focus heavily on legs and trying to maintain a feel of mass and center of gravity. Also, no optional. Kind of a busy week. Lots of it is last second.
I'll try to do better this week. :/
Also, I got mixed up in keeping track of my 10 second, 30 second, and 60 second poses. They're also all posemaniacs. I did a few images out of my book, "Anatomy for Fantasy Artists" sketching poses the man and woman make, but I don't think my scanner is installed.
Some great work guys, i'll try and get my arse in gear to get some gestures done too. Just a quick question though - are you guys finding photo references from the internet, and if so where?
- difficult is worth doing -
Two things, when in doubt, google important or strange sounding words. In this case, strange/important words being "posemaniacs". That would have given you the site, through a little googleyness.
Second thing, I use "posemaniacs.com" because it has a random pose viewer that's timed, so I can try to improve my speed/accuracy without having to time seperately(I have no timers other than cell phone or clock on the oven/computer desktop).
So, I'm honestly not trying to be a jerk by saying you could google it, just I know what it's like asking a question on a forum and having to wait for someone to respond. Most of the time I can find answers faster via google, wikipedia, etc.
Hope that helps.
