Well, here goes my sketchbook, i came here because a friend of mine recommended me "if you want a good art community, join ConceptArt".
So basically that's why I'm here, and here, it seems there are just so many incredible artists, and I want to improve just like them.
I'm 18 right now, i like drawing american comic and manga and some realism, don't like cartoony stuff right now.
GO TO LAST PAGE! I'M BETTER NOW! XD
Will upload more next time!

First is a digital painting made as a gift for my friend, was really fun to do and the other one is a coloured pencils drawing made a while ago:
Nice figures, good expressions, and great use of color.
Digging the animated feel you're adding to these. Keep doing studies and adding your own touch to it.
Sketchbook!! Please help me improve!
Ash888: Thank you! still need a lot of anatomy to practice huh?
KidApe: Thank you! will do more studies of course, but can you explain to me what do you mean by "animated feel"?
Now, i will add another 2 more, first one, is just a digital color practice, i can see lots of things i could've done better...
The second one is an entry for a contest done by the imaginary friends studio in deviantart, i didn't win
Both of these are great, and again, impressive colors.
with the second, a few things, with such strong back lighting I feel we would be looking at the dark side of the figure. This would also create much more contrast in the background too. and developing the sky a little would go a long way. Great work I will continue to check up on your progress.
Thanks for posting your work, can't wait to see more.
Thanks a lot, i'm really glad you are liking the way I color or paint, it means a lot coming from you (thou I don't even know you lol), i already took a look at your Sketchbook, and it's really impressive!
And about the sky, I know it needs to be worked out, like it could have some clouds, more gradients, and such as making the sky seems really shiny. I'm really happy that you can't wait to see more!
Here goes more!
First one is an anatomy practice, because Villa told me i NEEDED to learn anatomy and I really agree with him =D, but right now I don't wanna draw nudes <.< and I'm not even 18 lol, but he said i could learn Anatomy without drawing from nude models. And the other one is a Portrait commission:
all of these are amazing. I like the second to last digital practice you made with the bikini girl. Very nice on the hair.
The last two are really nice.
The little girl just needs a little more definition in the face, the anatomy is good, and maybe define what she is sitting on or what she has her hand on.
the second one is great, good contrast, good interaction.
you are doing very well.
Well, just to have it clear, this drawings are old not like I make a drawing and upload it right after I finish, just wanted to let it clear...
Thank you, yeah the face needs more definition, you're right because i didn't even tried to , because, i was only trying to get the body right, but i COULD've done the face better yes, and I didn't draw where she was sitting on because, it was her mom, and i was too lazy to draw her too
will update tomorrow n_n
Here's another one! =D my second coloured pencil potrait... EVAR >D was done with crayola coloured pencils, and really fun to make, of course i used a reference. Took like 5 hours to finish it , tell me what you think! especially you Ash888, because you are just too good with realism =D
please gimme feedback for my sketchbook n.n
Love the composition, it is symmetrical and asymmetrical at the same time.
Use that tool in the future, because it helps to direct the viewers eye.
Both figures are good anatomy and color wise.
Good job with the rabbit, I sometimes find them difficult because of their soft form.
There are two places I would take a look at:
Bright colors draw your eye towards them,
so what happens when I look at the piece is my eye travels up and off the page.
Keep your viewers eye on the subject.
The last thing is the womans face.
Try to use some more dark tones to define the form.
As is the shadows are for the most part black.
This is most evident in the mouth.
This is a beautiful piece, and it was handled well.
Can't wait to see more.
About using bright colors, I really need to understand that, i've been told before about the use of contrast that makes the eye goes to a place in the picture, but i've never really learned about it. I want to thou! =P
oh, you mean like adding more values? i guess you're right but i tried to draw it as the reference, but guess i could've done better obviously, this was my 2nd, i can go for more practice .
Here's one sketch during a crappy class:
This one, was made after playing some Gears Of War and having drank that cold coffee with chocolate and lots of things, i was like hyper lol.
And this one was made during a practice for mainly, getting more used to my tablet+photoshop:
Tell me what you think
another 2 commissions made for couples, lol, they just want you to spam drawings of them hugging, grabbing each other's hands, etc.
first one, was made with reference:
All done in PhotoshopCS3. This one was done in a rush, i don't like drawing like that u_u, maybe i've got to learn to do that... and that's why it ended up like a wip <.<:
what do you guys think? gimme crits!
nice stuff! ur pencils r really good man! i like them more than ur dig art..for example i tloved this one
nice lines and colours, good handle of the colour pencils..keep it up!
I'm really liking your pencil portraits as well. I've been looking at the color pencil portrait with teh rabbit, it's well done! Ah, what I meant by animated feel is that to me your figures appear lively, animated=D
Sketchbook!! Please help me improve!
I am no expert on color, but that last value/color practice just looks damn good to me!
Keep up the studies and practice!
thanks a lot JPC, if you think it looks that good, then, i did a good job , and heck yes ill keep up with the practice, i don't want to be just some artist.
I'll keep updating later, im trying to make a fan art of "Tengen Toppa", an anime, because there will be a Convention of anime, here in my town, and i will be participating in the contest... heck yeah, haha, i hope i can finish it...

Hi again guys! it's been sometime since i updated my SB and here I am to not let it die...
First, is a drawing of guy... i dunno how to say it, it's just called "Deception", and it's made with ink pen (first with pencil sketch =O)
This one is a practice for folds, more than anatomy actually, got lazy and stopped drawing it, so it's not finished:
I'm gonna put up in the title "daily updates" and try to keep up with it >D, let's see if it works out
what do you guys think?
Hé DHTenshi, thanks for you commends on my skethbook.
Your work is Great, love the pencile stuf!
I like the manga style you drew in your first posts. You have talent in this universe
My Sketchbook [ACTUALLY UPDATED!]
I have 800 posts
nice your dravings paintings and black white jobs cool
First, thanks for the comments! now for individual reply:
Leon Roé: No problem man, I was pleased to do it, as i'm pleased to have you here commenting about my drawings! thank you =)
Té-Can: Thanks a lot! I'm happy to hear you want to see more n.n
chuck18mp: Thank you, I want to make a great style out of manga and american comic, like bryan hitch (from the ultimates series, I really like that style), but not pure manga, I actually don't like lots of things about manga
destinyapocalypse: Thank you
I got news!! (for anyone who cares lol) I won a drawing contest in a convention of anime, manga and videogames here in my town! I won the "Color fanart" contest, I'm gonna upload the winning drawing here, although it is really old... Anyways, they gave me 48 prismacolors, that is a great motivation to keep learning coloured pencils. So here's the winner!:
Do you know her?
Here's another one, was done with inks and its a fan art for same event, and i wanted to show it here too:
And this one is, a fan art for a anime series I like very much, and was done with pencils and black ink pen, oh and a little black coloured pencil:
I like this one, but then I like bleach, so I'm biased
But putting his zanpakutou's manifestation behind him like that makes it look really sweet
The others are pretty nice too. Keep it up.
