Hey there, I made a series of works based on the story of hercules and his labours... just thought i'd share the result.
Hercules & Cerberus:
The Augean Stables:
The Horses of Diomedes:
This is realy abitious, but i would work much more on the drawing. Also in your case i think you should use painter instead of photoshop. It lets you be more expressive and looks more natural.
I know it's personal preference to have a larger, heavier Hercules, but it's not working for me. Greeks and their mythology have alot of emphasis on the ideals, body ideals and beauty. Ugliness is usually associated with the darker side, beauty the heros and gods.
The stabels is the strongest piece IMO, because it has a few hard, sharp edges, the others seem abit blurry and unfinished because of not having any.

I kinda like your take on hercules. but as said above it is way too blurry.
The stables definately need the jungle to continue behind them instead of the clouds.
The horses (mainly the one in the middle) looks more like a dog than a horse. Get reference and study closely.
I believe it's Minotaur and not Minitour.
your work is beautiful but not liking the fat Hecules
these are interesting, different takes. I think I would like them much more if you got rid of the photo manips and just put your ideas down.
For example, the horse in front looks bland next to the photograph of the horse behind it.
