wow! this new stuff is freaking awesome. spectacular progress keep it up.
I'm swamped with schoolwork these days @_@
9 days of school left though, yay
Something different for this update, here's the final assignment (in progress) for my Technical Drawing class. (funny how I never post schoolwork here)
Had to count tiles to make this floor plan (thank Lord I can snap to grid in photoshop)
Then modeled it roughly in 3ds max (yap we're learning the basics at school this semester)
Then Photoshop @_@ I'm using photo refs and stuff, feels like a very tedious photostudy
Love, love the environments, this one's my favorite, http://www.conceptart.org/forums/att...9&d=1304649320
hey xinranliu, hope you doing well
just passing by to say that last enviro you did is very original. its a city, but you really made it your own. nice paintings all over
will consider coming to the GA life drawing sessions, now that you told me about it. will depend of how busy I am. thanks
keep up the good work
sweet stuff mate, the insect creature is good, and I love the life drawings the portrait of your friend Xuan is very nice too, and the character in purple second from left is my favorite for sure, she has personality and you really nailed her pose too, I like every thing about that characters, good job now more ok?
Wow, amazing progress! great inspiration for others like myself.
keep up the good work, ill be sure to check back on your sketchbook again.
OMG you are so good now!
I... is that an assassin I spot loitering around in the last picture, or is it just me?
Anyway, great sketchbook! The sheer vibrancy of your arts, and looking through your sketchbook the transformation from amateur to this is pretty awe-inspiring. I'm seeing nice use of everything from perspective to brush strokes (albeit the work being a little unrefined, but still...) - so hey, keep at it!
Thanks for Stopping by my SB! I see that you are from Monteal. I wrapped up my degree at Concordia and I miss the $1 pizza at El'Taib just up the St. from the main Campus. You have a ton of great stuff here and I'd say your strongest work is your landscapes. Keep up the great work!
Good range of work. I especially like the pencil figure sketches and the last craft sketch.
Keep it up!
