Hi Kidult, thank you for the visit . Great amount of studies. For the last one with the feathers, her stance is weird for me. It seems that her lower body doesn't connect right to her shoulders, as if the lower body is leaning too much forward. Maybe it's just me, but I have that feeling .
This one is indeed really cool .
Lyno - thanks for crits and comments
miycko - thanks!
a quick sphere study
Some wips, 1st a rough 3d model of a gun sword, early days still. then the bullets it'l fire off.

i like your sense of design and fashion, very developped.
you figure are also are nice an special, perhaps it's your style rising (but it need more pushing).
keep having fun !
Hey Kidult, thanks for dropping by my sketchbook and the words of encouragement, it means a lot. I've looked through ur stuff and im really impressed by the sheer volume of all the study ur putting into your work. Its really quite inspiring. I need to get back into the habit as well. I havent since my fine arts days in college. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
P/s do you know if there is a way to add people to a friends list or something on CA, im a complete noob here, so any help would be appreciated.
Garth Cochrane, AhChu, Zou - Thanks
Bing! - thanks and sent you a pm
a wip of a creature design / illo for my portfolio, still long ways to go.
Wow, your sketchbook is beautiful You got some MAD rendering skills!
You need to work on facial expressions, though. The two girls up there ^ don't draw me in at all.
Same with the fish creature, I cannot decipher its attitude. Is it happy? Frightened? Angry and unleashing its minions at someone? I can't tell.
It's one thing to work on, everything else is perfect :] Good luck with your studies!
wow so many updates
your rendering skills (water and stone) are gorgeous ! super !
i'm waiting for your oil to finish
congrats on your studies, they are very good (one thought:i don't care too much about proportions when studing anatomy just let the pencil flow)
Nice landscape paintings. That giant fish is cool, and I dig those crazy bullets, mint!
Good that you're do so many studies. I would suggest trying some different techniques.
On your portrait studies for example, you can try simplifying down to minimal marks, use only lines, use only shapes, caricature, use only geometric forms, etc.
Different approaches will give you different insights.
you are one of those hard workers, sitting at their desk for a years and putting their work here It's awesome to see your progress. Oil painting from previous page, thumbs up, it's beautiful. Keep it going!
haha oh man that creature above for your portfolio looks awesome - nice colour use! And the bullets for that gun-blade look sweet too. You have yourself one badass sketchbook here! Keep up this hard work!
