i don't know.. actually i want to be a cameraman :-).
I think i just want to be good in óne thing... now i can do allot, but i don't excell in one... I make websites, 3D animations, 3D models, 2D illustrations, 2D animations, motiondesign, video and montage, ...

Now i'm focussing for a while on drawing, see where that is going... I still have a long way to go, but i like it.. and that's the most important thing!

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! you are my new hero!!! I always have wanted to know how to make people with different characteristics and traits, but I never knew how to go about it. This is GREAT material to learn from. I love how you have so much feeling in your characters. Fantastic stuff, bro!
any suggestions on how you do your stuff?

hey, thanx! I've never been someone's hero :-) i like it :-).

I think to give your character allot of personality you just have to focus on every aspect of the drawing... I'm also still experimenting with different emotions and personalities and i've noticed that the eye's are really important. If you move the pupil of the eye half a millimeter it can make a difference between the character looking directly to you or looking at nothing...

But hey, i'm also just experimenting . Most of the time i try to think of a whole background story of a person i'm drawing and try to let it come out in the drawing. No one will ever know my story behind a character, but i think somewhere you notice that there IS a story
Sometimes i succeed in drawing this person, most of the time i fail :-). But hey, that's how we learn... :-)

Now this has been a while!

Your stuff looks really tight, I especially like those Photoshop-doodled heads. Simple and effective shading!

And the your movies actually rocked my bottom! Congrats on graduating, and good luck with your teaching-education.

Goed om nog eens wat werk te zien van de Genker klas...

not intentional, but most of the time i'm doing cartoony stuff with bigger heads... propabely that's influencing my more realistic studies.. i will keep an eye on it!

@fuzzy: working on it! I will be a little less productive this week because i have to work allot, but i'm trying to build up my portfolio, so there will definitely be more work in the near future!
