mmmmmmmmmm that tranny is so hot, i'm wet
Inspiring work, your concepts are brilliant!! I especially like the one with the creepy lady and the cigarette. Amazing stuff!
yeah dood, im doin quite well at the moment - thanks for askin - all is going well and my resolve behind being an artist (why and how) has strengthened a lot since Austin.
Loving the first one - am i reading correctly - a halo, tattoo of an angel on the right shoulder, blood stains on the hands? I like it when seemingly simple paintings have subtle symbolism. The smoke treatment in the second is cool too I've been spending a lot of time drawing around the red light district here in Sydney which is great for late night inspiration/entertainment.
I say we have a bums vs. hookers showdown
working on any big traditional stuff? Love to see where you're pushing your oils ... er... you know what i mean.

JesArt Sketchbook, go have a gander..
definitely like all the different styles you have going, they all work really well, i especially enjoy the soldier and the vehicles, very nice
the best teachers are those around us
yeah i think you're right, it just doesnt seem like the river would be that color, it would be closer to what the sky looks like...
the faces of the streetlife-pic are superb. Merely don't know about the flowerpowersmoke though. It is kinda distrackting when tacking into consideration how much the focus is centered on the redhaired girl. The brightness and rather swift movement of the smoke out of the picture hampers the marvelous gaze of the girl somewhat.
Love the richness of beaty in this SB
Love your quick ink doodles... great lines. Lovely colours and lighting on the paints too.
"I've wrestled with reality for 35 years, Doctor, and I'm happy to state I finally won out over it. "
Cannibal Ox, the cold vein - never past it's time. The praise is unnecessary and this artform ritual exists in continuance. What comes to mind when you read the words "The Incubation Fields"?
Keep doing you
Those first two are siiick. I love the dollar bill-esque floral pattern for the smoke. Really digging the sketches too, especially that little still life of the plants. Seriously, thanks for sharing this.
really happy to see you hereplease dont stop!you rock!
i'm absolutely loving the way you made that palette scan into a painting. cheers keep us updated
my old sketchbook

GriNGoLoCo: haha its funny you should say that. see im just lazy and willing to let some of the abstraction define the shapes. it works occaisionally.
Chromosome: hahah thanks man. thanks fo lookin. keep rockin!
Vulgar`: thanks man. ima try haha. incubation fields? lotsa stuff comes to mind thanks for stoppin by...
Gumdrop: thanks. sometimes the quickies are my favorites. theres always a fresh immediateness that just doesnt happn when i try to draw more detailed stuff...
blacky: haha thanks man. yeah i wanted something to push a diagonal into the comp, it doesnt bother me too much, but i can certainly see what you mean.
Main Loop: yeah i could see what you mean. water comes in a lot of colors though. i was thinkng of how it looked when i went up tohaoe a couple years ago. the water is like a very deep blue and blue green. but its all relative. seeing as that i didnt use a photo i am probably wrong. no harm in tryin tho
unamigosencillo: thanks! jus goin through the motions haha...
Skeiff: thanks bro. lets hope so haha....
Justin Oaksford: thanks. ther are so many bums here i have lots of good reference to look at all day haha. i have one, but its not nearly as impressive, and it doesnt have any food in it either.
nonie: hahahhha right?
JesArt: hahah thanks
Form: good to hear man. keep drawin. i dont have any big paintings in the works right now, just lots of small rough ones really. ill post some as soon as i photograph them...
AlexC: i still need to comment on your book! i have looked through it, and im still collecting my thoughts on it. haha sorry man i get busy and sidetracked liek amillion times a day. ill do it this weekend bro, i promise! i got that texture by applying a color halftone to the image. its in filters>pixelate>colorhalftone...try it, its cool. oh also i offset the red channel a few pixels at the end.
Wasker: haha it definitely does in some areas. theres like a million little subtexture areas on it. so much material to work with!
Icharin: haha thanks. im not too sure thats a lady though....youd have to get her nekkid to tell
metalpiss: hhaha you are too kind sir..

m@.: thanks bro! hope the O.C. is doing well by you. cant wait to meet you in january finally!!
That fat kid: thanks dude. i dont know really, i just kind of build it out as it comes with these. its mostly justa combination of intuition and ripping other mutherfuckers off haha.
PatriciaS: thanks. i too liek thosew little things that get added at the end. i swear those little things will save a piece sometimes.
so heres a couple more things...more crazy bum medusa napoleon monkey with a rake sillyness, just playing around and letting my hand do what it wants haha. and some storyboards i did in my spare time for practice. i have been doing alot of storyboarding at work lately. i greatly enjoy doing it. it allows me to capitalize on the fact that i have watched a lot of TV and movies and can rough in lots of stuff fast. i did these all out of my head and kept them to under an hour each... i have a bunch of head paintings from class that i will post in here as soon as i can take some good pictures of them too. stay tuned.... anyhoo, thanks for lookin!-c36
snap! now my update will be drowned by yours. unless you bump it up (and let me know what to work further on)
sweet, sweet storyboards. the mood change simply through warm and cool colours is awesome.
THat last one i love it such atmosphere ... some cool stuff ........You are the man i dont know what to say ...
The storyboards are awesome! Great lighting - very evocative. I think the baby did it. There's a freakish intelligence to his squint in panel 4...
It's great you've started a new SB. Looking forward to more!
