Hi, I've been lurking these forums for a while trying to learn from everyone in the forums. There was a couple of posts by a member of the forum with lessons in how to create level design, and other lessons in other areas.
I had these threads saved in my favourites but when i formatted my mac i forgot to save them and now I just can't find the threads anymore, if anyone knows which thread i'm talking about would you be able to link me to it? would really appreciate it!
EDIT: nevermind found em!
I feel loved.
There's this now, too: http://conceptart.org/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=142
I think you are awesome, and I wish you the best in your endeavors, but I am tired of repeating myself, I am very busy with my new baby, and I am no longer a regular participant here, so please do not contact me to ask for advice on your career or education. All of the advice that I have to offer can already be found in the following links. Thank you.
Perspective 101, Concept Art 101, Games Industry info,Oil Paint info, Acrylic Paint info, my sketchbook.
thanks a lot seedling!
I'm in a graphic design program and for my illustration class we were asked to start a sketchbook and after i saw that thread i thought it would be perfect for the sketchbook assignment and because i always wanted to learn how to do great concept art.
Nope, I'm in Ottawa (Algonquin College) and in my second year.
I'm guessing it's a pretty popular assignment to give students since it gets us to draw anything that interests us.
Yeah really, I wish they had that when I was first year.... heck even in digital illustration class there's no SB stuff.
