any advice which style fits better?
i think this one looks best. anything missing?
First, his legs are on the same plane, which makes figuring out which is which very difficult, second, it would be great if there were less whoosh lines and ore of a background to indicate where this person is.
The fuzzyness doesn't work. For something that is harsh like this, keep it harsh. Fuzzing out a battle is like putting lace on a biker's helmet.
I also think the black and white don't do enough. We respond a lot to colour, and this needs it. I think that red is a good choice. Overall, try to use that red on it's own in an exciting way. This is more about design now than realistic rendering, so think about different ways that red can be used to highlight something, the explosion, his gun, etc.
thank you, good points. i think i'll try a technical background.
