DSG 1295: Steampunk: COAL-BURNING CONSTRUCTION BOTS GOT PRETTY DINGY & DINGED-UP

[ Yep, it was inevitable that the engineers who came up with steam engines that powered hundreds of tons of freight across the great horizontal planes would figure out a way to power same in a more vertical direction. ]

[ The birth of the "skyscraper" certainly would not have been possible without the incredible, automated, heavy-lifting and welding powers of the coal-burning bots. ]

[ For the sake of clarity: "dingy" means darkened with smoke and grime; dirty or discolored, whilst "dinged-up" means damaged or marred. ]

It's a machine that is designed for carrying people from deep earth. Tracks are anchored to a stone core. The coal powered machines bring wokers up to the surface. I'd like to do more with it, but you know...It's getting late for this here family man.

Took a few unsuccessful tries before I banged this out. Would've liked to start entirely over again but running out of time .

My coal burner is in a mine, where ancient layers of platinum are discovered under coal surfaces. These platinum layers are covered in arcane symbols of an exstinct, but highly advanced society.
CB-105 machines are transported to burn the layers of coal. Scraping and mining the coal away would damage the lightly engraved symbols.



Wish I could've made the robot smaller to match the size of the cave. He looks huge.

And I wanted to color it...
