think the best way to get some comments is starting a sketchbook.

very quick sketches...some vtol designs and ideas
started to learn anatomy (looking on other sketches from ca)
that one was done in about 60 sec during work today...don´t konw why but i like it.
working on this one now...think it is very hard to draw textils
somehow i got a wacom from someone who´s not using it.
after a few hours of getting used to the tablet i did this one.
don´t know about the background...
did another 10minute-robot...looks a bit comic-style
ok....doesn´t help...everyone tells my to study more anatomy. so i do(coloring just for fun ) downloaded a book with a lot of usefull information about anatomy and techniques.
hope it´s helping

got photoshop cs2 today....last things i was working with painter essentials...it´s really not the same i think.
anyway i did my first life drawing trying to draw my cat....but it´s not so easy to get her to stay at a place as you can imagine.
did my first photoshop coloring...there´s a lot to do better here
can someone color the eyes that they look more "glassy" and not so flat and post it. i really don´t no how to do it.
thanx for your help
a robot-sketch and a attempt of PS-coloring. i really have to learn more about photoshop.
had some time to go on with learning the basics of drawing and how to use PS.
the robot is very boring and there are no details but i work on my coloring. maybe someday i will know how to do it.
and a quick sketch

was working on the robot today.
speedy painter skull. should use a ref next time
Do deeper with the anatomy, concentrate on the "construction" instead of the outline. Play with the forms and shapes in and outside the human body. In the mean time your vehicle design is on its way, just keep working at it and check actual vehicle plans to help you.
woman....i think the head is to small.
resized the head
bought a sketchbook and pencil...here are my first attempts(woman without a ref)....my girlfriend didn´t want to pose for me
played around with painter...display is acryl
nice progress, keep at it
picture is from an article in a magazine about the killing of gorillas. was just a try and the ref_photo is very small.
a new vtol-concept.
update... blockhead study (loomis) ; robot sketch (just started with this one) ; doodles and a fanatic priest
i tried to paint with a photo_ref..but it turned into something other because i started wrong with the position of her head. and my woman looks a bit...hmm....diabolic
don´t know if i should go on with this one
ok...i just had to look better to see whats wrong with her face

Hey man... just keep doing what you are doing and you will improve quickly I am sure of it!
On this last drawing of the woman. I think instead of going on with this one you should redraw it... don't just settle for it as it is because you know that there are flaws with it. Trying taking the reference picture and drawing a line down the center of her face. Now translate that line onto your paper. Really focus on getting the same angle down on your paper. This will help capture the pose.
Really look at the shapes you are seeing... really try not to just draw what you think you see. This is the reason why eyes suck so bad (not the eyes you are drawing specifically... eyes in general suck to draw, I hate them). We have such a symbolic vision in our heads of what an eye is supposed to look like... really try to forget this and draw exactly what you see. Try drawing the shapes AROUND the eye rather than the eye itself. This may help you to not draw symbolicly.
Keep drawing man and keep updating. I really feel these forums are the best place (other than school) to learn how to draw.

lifewontwait:thanks man...i like to hear that someone thinks that there is hope for me
this is the last attempt to make the best of a bad job.
i changed the eyes, the hair and the nose(no success here) and also tried to put some shadow in the face
yes...especially for me. i´m working as a uav operator after technical aviation school....not much art in my job or school.I really feel these forums are the best place (other than school) to learn how to draw.
