Thanks for the kind comments. So far the first one is the fave... maybe I'll clean it up and make it a finished concept.

Denace: yeah I've been checkin out his work. I'm a big fan! I've always have had a appreciation of urban/graffiti styled work.

Here's a new one for today... I was trying to do this as a finshed concept but my ink linework started to look like poo, so it ended up in my sketchbook work.

Haven't put anything on here in a long time. Been busy moving and dealing with my new Shiba Inu puppy(hopefully I'll have some good sketches of him soon).

I have been sketching a lot lately... just trying out different stuff. Here's a funky monkey...

Thanks for the kind comments guys.

I've started to do the tutorials from Don Seegmiller's book. It's time to start learning how to paint. So here's the first one... a tree! lol

thanks Swift. Maybe I should develop that sword guy and the turtle creature more.

Here's an eye from Seegmiller's tutorial... I don't like the shape of the eye, but I wasn't too concerned with the actual drawing.

Good stuff sketch, my only advice is too keep drawing from life. Understanding basic shapes and learning what to put in and what to leave out in a drawing/painting is what really draws the viewer in.

Keep going,

Well here's a wip that I'm doing from Seegmiller's book. An excellent book so far, highly recomend it. I'll be working on this again, I'm sure.

Thanks Loop! Who is Dose Green? I'm pretty sure I know a graffiti artist that goes by Dose... but I've never heard of Dose Green.

Also just wanted to make it clear that the last painting is not my design, it's Don Seegmiller's. I just did the colours.
