Just wondering where I would go to get tutotials on how to make the most of Painter? I have a wacom and got coral painter essential 3 with it. Looked at some peoples pencil works while using painter and I love the look of there work. Just wondering where I could go about learning how to use the tools(mostly the pencil tool) to there full potential.
You won't get "full potential" with Corel Painter Essentials 3 as the brush controls are very limited in that "lite" Painter version.
As for tutorials, you'll find some in the monthly newsletter, The Painter Canvas issues but I'm not sure you'll find any specifically for pencil drawing in Painter Essentials 3. It's worth a look, anyway, as you might find one or a tutorial written for Painter IX (IX 9.1 or IX.5) or Painter X that you can use. There are some written specifically for Painter Essential 3 that will help you learn other aspects of the program.
Corel is a bit behind posting links to the most recent issues, but you'll find a complete list of The Painter Canvas issues for both Painter IX and Painter X (two links) in the right column on my PixelAlley website home page (URL below my signature).
Thanks for taking the time out to reply.
Will check out the news letters and have a look there.
