Feast your eyes on this guys work..6/19 Images added

Im not sure how many of you know of this guy but, I just found his sites and he just blew my brain up into tiny little pieces... His comic book paintings are some of the best I have ever seen (and one of the top three batman pieces Ive ever seen). Wish I can post some examples of his work but, he doesn't allow you to from his site.

yeah...it's good stuff. but there's just way too much of the "cute" flash going on. It takes like 10 clicks to get anywhere near the artwork.

when you finally see a comics button, you click on it and get to another page where you eventually find a button that says comics,
well,
I quit before I saw any art

I usually don't mind sites like these. I guess I just don't browse a lot of art sites or and I'm not trying to hire anyone. That said, yeah, having to click on comics and then click on comics again...just why?!

I remember when he first came into the comic scene about a decade ago, it must have been. Amazing Wolverine / Spider-Man illustrations. It was the first I'd really scene some comic book artwork that wasn't the traditional style. The guy definitely knows how to make these characters his own.

Yeah, just about the most annoying portfolio presentation I've ever seen. It was nice to see that the art was worth all the stumbling around for once I finally found it.

Clicking on the teeny "navigation" at the bottom brings up a menu that makes things easier. Still hella annoying, though. I especially hate the perspective distortion on the small versions.

the only reason I could think of is to keep it consistent with the other sections. It really felt like he didn't want me to see the paintings.

Great illustrations.
Hmm.. I sometimes like flash websites that are made this way (I mean visiting different locations) but only if it's meant to be some work of art itself.
Just like - http://99rooms.com
It's not a gallery. This is kind of sound, photography, painting and flash put together into something that looks really interesting .

Wow, It was like a labyrinth. I just ran my mouse sideways slowly going down the screen till I found a clickable area.. The door could have a nice sign that says "comics!!!!"

I agree, I think he's really proud of the site, or really mad at the web designer.

My goodness, you have to click a button outside the second "Sketch" door to see the sketches inside. They don't pop up, you have to turn them "on". This made my head and my desk suddenly "become one".
