well first off i highly doubt you have a red glowing eye Joke, i actually like that it looks weird in a nice way but the neck doesn't go with the head, the jaw seems too small ( too round ?) Or do you have a chin like that? Oh andthe ear needs work, it doesn't look like a real ear

Nee, anyhow i like the feel to it, almost electric

First thing I noticed is that your rendering is inconsistent - you bring in lots of blacks in some areas and 'scribbles' then in other areas where the shadows would be as heavy, there are none. Be careful to observe.

I would draw a new portrait. This time sit down in front of a mirror and look at yourself. Don't pose, don't conceptualize, just look at yourself. Remember, you are focusing on surface, shadows, contrast, light/dark relationships, and proportions. Draw a portrait as accurately as you can... work on it until you feel you cannot work on it any more, then set it aside and start another. Draw objects in front of you. Understand form and rendering, then go for the conceptual pieces.

Once you achieve a point where you feel you will NEVER reach a readiness for concept, is ironically when you will be ready.
