whenever I feel that my progress is slowing down, I just totally change what I'm trying to improve. for example, if I've seen no progress with my facial art, I change gears and start studying primarily cars or airplanes.

a block in progress is like a case of the shanks in golf; it's all mental. just change gears for awhile and then occasionally do a reference drawing of a person or whatever to stay sharp. then, once you've begun to feel confident in your airplane drawing or whatever, jump to a medium, like a pilot w/ a jet.

the most important thing is to remember that it's all mental; just like in golf, you gotta figure out your own way to regain your confidance.

Happens to all of us I .. noone is born the fanatastiue artist ... if only :-)

I know what U mean ... try to pretend tht it actually isnt ure work 4 a moment .. pretend its someone else's .. other people work always looks so much better than mine in my eyes .. maybe ull see that U have progressed ... or study art theory for a while .. making U ueber smart & more confident ... maybe that helps .. or just scribble endlessy .... just go mad with pen - pencil whateva U use ... dont be tense when u are workin .. relax .. results are alot better ... pretend ... its not A R T .. but that U are just expressing ur creativity :-)

Or maybe U just need to eat a nice lovely yummy sandwich ... .
