Love how you pinpointed the focus point right there at the beginning and made it the center through the whole process. Lovely! Shows great planning and execution.

Thanks for sharing!

it seems like carl and his methods already left a mark at the mb studios.
it´s cool to see you work that way and kinda surprising.
i can´t wait to witness what you'll drop when you really internalized those methods and merge the solidity and acurracy with your trademark fluidity.

you sf punks just keep growing. it´s amazing!

Your portraits are always an inspiration. If I look at your work, I begin to see and feel how to paint or draw a head.

I especially like the first one. What materials did you use?

Beautiful stuff bro!
With your life drawings, am I correct that you initially block in the forms with a coloured pastel or pencil and get the proportion and placement right and then go over it with a black prisma colour?
It's a very logical technique but i was wondering what you do when you just have a black pencil do you block in the initial forms and construction lines with lighter lines and erase? more insight into your technique would be very apprciated.
Also with your digital portrait, do you rotate the canvas in painter and press shift for the straight lines? Or are you just so good that you can do them with your arm?
Cheers Man

Any chance of a longer video? I found it informative, but the steps seemed to happen in stages rather than in strokes, making it kinda tough to see how you work. I only bring it up because I've seen some of these (a head tutorial by seegmiller comes to mind) that really gave you a sense of the creation of the piece stroke-by-stroke. But hey, don't think I'm unappreciative...I'm just hungry for more!
