Just doodling under the influence of a little vodka, and i suddenly realized that the drawing was actually going somewhere. I think this might be my best piece ever without any reference whatsoever. I kept working on it and fixed it a little in photoshop. Started some colors, i know the boots doesnt look right at all.

Any suggestions, crits and tips you might have is VERY welcome. A big thanks to John O., Cookie, Evil Sloth and the others who helped me in irc.




I'll post the clean lines if anyone wants to see them.

The pose looks cute-ish, but the mouth seems frowning, was that on pupose?

The neck looks strange, and the head is twisted quite far. Draw a line connecting the shoulders, and another connecting her nipples... something not right!
By making her left upper arm thinner towards the elbow, you reduce the illusion of foreshortening perhaps a bit too much - it looks a bit like her arms are not equal length. Same with the right leg; with the feet drawn as they are, it looks like the upper right leg is shorter than the left, rather than the knee bent and more forward... if that makes sense.

The pose makes her look like she's kinda crippled, and her right leg confirms it.

If you forced her to stand up straight, you'll see her right arm is longer, as the left is fully extended, but the right elbow is so far behind her.

The right hip is too small, and higher on the body than the left, although her weight is fairly centered due to the bend of the knees. The entire right leg (with the exception of the shapeless lumpy boots) is noticibly thinner AND shorter than her left, and the knee is closer to the top of the boot, compounding the crippled limb effect.

She's got a real cute face, but her right tit is larger and droopier than her left.

You've now proven the old bar adage that "the more you drink, the prettier the girls look..." This babe should be on a March of Dimes poster...LOL!

Yes silly, i tried to portray one of those drunken faces, staring blankly into the air, concentrating on trying to stand up, trying to remember where they are, trying to formulate an understandable sentence, and trying not to throw up.

Thanks for all the crits guys, I'll ponder this advice secretly in my heart for many weeks until of a certainty i know what they mean.

her neck is definetly weird.
bost mostly its her over-all proportions that bother me most.
a little stretching and she could look a lot sexier.
right now, she's pretty frumpy.
