First off, my sympathies to the Holloway family Very, very unfortunate.

I think Joran Van Der Sloot and the Kalpoe brothers know exactly what happened to her. I also think they're responsible for her disappereance (or murder). But I don't think those guys actually did the job. I think there's a third party involved that Joran and the Kalpoe brothers don't want to expose.

1) Joran and the Kalpoe brothers pick up Natalee at the casino. She gets drunk, or drugged by them, take her to the beach, have their way with her (or she has an accident) and they get rid of her body in the ocean.

I was inclined to believe this at first, but now I think that the reason why her body hasn't been found is because she isn't dead. Aruba is a small island, where everyone knows each other. Even if the body was dumped in the ocean, any thing dumped on the eastern side of the island would wash up on shore. Anything dumped on the Western side is shallow ocean. They wouldn't have had enough time to go to that side of the island, call Joran's dad, and drop Joran off back on the other side of the island for his dad to pick him up.

2) Joran and the Kalpoe brothers are gambling at the casino. Joran (who has an open line of credit with casino), makes a deal with the casino owner to clear his debt if he brings Natalee to the beach to coordinate a kidnapping with the casino's owner, in exchange for... money?... forgiveness of gambling debts?.... who knows...

I think she is still alive. Aubducted against her will because of Joran, or his father a powerful judge, for political favors or criminal kickback.

I think she's dead. I think those boys know what's going on...exactly...and I think the Aruba government isn't covering up for the boy or his father...rather they're covering up for their law enforcement's inept abilities and their own judicial failings.

Up till now such cases were rare in Aruba and their system was never tested to this degree...hence it wasn't a surprise they couldn't figure out how to handle it early on but even on hindsight now, its too late for Natalee.

Hey same thing with Cory Shapelle in Indonesia....the Australian woman who's sentenced to life in prison for smuggling narcotics. She says she didn't do it. No one would care if she's not young and beautiful. Gorgeous eyes I might add.

Theres a girl from were I live thats been missing for about a year and a half or more. We have billbords, bracelets, missing posters and just about everything you can think of going up and down the west coast of the USA.

I think its almost safe to say that anyone who has been missing for more then a mounth is dead.

Around here they discovered a girl who had disapeared 3 or 4 years ago when she was 15. Turns out she dyed her hair and got a job under a fake identity 5 hours drive from where she was from and had been there all the time.

I hate when someone who is rich, or good looking goes missing the whole world has to stop and look for them, but some average kid goes missing and it barely gets on the local news. It's sad that this girl is missing, but I don't think broadcasting that she's missing all over the continental U.S. is going to help find her. In otherwords, I DON'T THINK SHE'S HERE!!! Spend the time broadcasting updates in her case on other missing children.

I don't think the reason why Holloway is getting so much attention more than other missing kids is because she's a rich, white, pretty girl.

It's because of the fact that it happened in another country, where the authorities are not being helpful, the main suspect is the spoiled son of the country's powerful judge, and there could be a massive cover-up by that countries government because of the judge's involvement.

Yes, I agree though that it isn't fair that other missing teens and kids aren't getting as much airtime though.

It dosen't matter what her race is.

The reason why this case is getting so much attention has nothing to do with the girl's ethnicity. It's because a foriegn country is possibly sabotaging this investigation because it involves one of their top leaders in a murder/kidnapping.

Also, NOT caring because Natalee Holloway IS white is just bad as not caring if she was black.

I highly doubt that you care about all of the thousands of missing/murdered/enslaved young people that you've never heard of, regardless of their ethnicity.

For all you know, there are plenty of other missing persons cases which involve foreign government in some way, yet they don't get any media coverage, so you don't hear about and therefore cannot possibly care about them.

And I'm wondering if you actually do "care", or do you just have a vague interest in seeing how the whole thing turns out?

I live in Cleveland. Three times a week, I get a postcard with two photos of two differant people who have gone missing. Walk into any walmart. They don't fit on milkcartons anymore.

...and who the hell goes to ARUBA for a senior trip. We hardly even had a prom. The ONLY reason this is getting coverage is because she is a rich white girl who disappeared on her senior class trip. She's model citizen material. She's newsworthy.
