these remind me of these portraits by picasso of his lover http://www.whom.co.uk/dora/doramaar.htm which he did a lot of... a lot of them he is being really imaginative and just doing what he feels like and then he throws in one or two extremely good academic style portraits for fun. i see kindof the same pattern in these

need I say I dig it. What I really like about this one is the traditional feel it carries in your execution, aside from the blunt sketchbook spirals. Dunno if you'll ever read this, but did the sketch book drawing have any wash on it before you built it up or is that just presentation with the spirals. Simply curious from all the coolness that steams off of these. Great stuff again.

Wow, thats really interesting to look at. The random strokes and what not throughout the image really give it an unique feel, as well as the way you drew makes it look like its made out of granite or some form of rock. Very cool.
