Thumbs up

I once read that if you wanted to get really good at painting something, paint it 100 times. Just in the 5 tries you've done, you have made WONDERFUL improvements! Your lines are better, your shapes are better, your values are very improved.

The only thing I would add to your latest, is the cool "squiggles" you had in the first version's flower blossoms. The current flowers look kinda bland and undefined, which goes with the rest of the image, but a couple (don't overdo) of those squiggles would give the flowers just a little jazz...

Really nice composition, well done!

Looks pretty damn nice, i like the way the colors make a nice atmosphere to it all, what i would like to see though is some details, especially on the flowers, maybe a focus point of some kind...

Yea ill try doing that, but its only like 2 hours of work total. I will continue to add to this piece though and add a strong focal point somewhere in the flowers to and make it brighter in that area.

I would ditch the vases dark countour line. And more defined shadows and highlights in the flowers.

The reason i had those there was because in the begining my lines were curved and distorted, but yes Im thinking of changing that also.

Thanks for the comments
