They need more definition on the light
use less strokes to make the shapes that way you will have more clarity on the planes of the shapes, your images get flatened out because you brake aparat the ligth source to much, make the areas of light and shadow more consistent. you seem to be very good, keep practicing and you will solve this issue in no time ![]()

Pickin' Up Bones!
Welcome to our city ~ beware of outsiders the pox is everywhere ~ otherworldly spirits may be at work here ~ throw the bones on the table and lets see what they see in our future. Wonderful little elfins love the little people. They don't eat much or take up much room, and you can get a lot of clothes in the washer!

Some time ago a teacher
gave me some advise about my lighting tecnique, i think you can use the same advise right now your shading is like the right cube your shading is not supporting the line work, you might wanna try on making the shading more consisten like in the left cube that has a better sence of bluk, thats all keep posting more studies!!!![]()

Coming alog nicely fill out the images with more values
your are starting to clean up the images and make a more controled system for your shading, thats good but I think you still need to fill your pics with more values, you have to much white, in the portrait the cheeks feel flat for the lack of values, use pure white just for hightlights. The hand and the tree look very nice, (but the girl on top of the tree sufers from the same flatness that the portrait has. Keep experimeting and posting, youv got a reall orignal shading style and like it a lot, I am really enjoying your development.

That mechanical war machine looks nice,
this ones are better, last one has a nice improvment on ligth consistency, (bw did ya have read the books of A. loomis?) The mayor issue in the last one is that the nervous line work is hurting the muscle defintion, plus some of the muscles look like you guess em and specilay the trapecious (the one that goes from the deltoid towards the neck. Ill sugesst that you start makeing more muscle and costruccion studies, I know they can get a bit tedious some times but I asure you that you will see tons of improvment once you get to make em. Keep posting your studies ![]()

This one looks a lot better, your linework seems more
controled and the muscles have gotten more definition I belive you are on the right track, just keep on churning out the studies ![]() (I agree about the neck, but even so, the volumen is way better on this one) see ya.

good picture....but as already mentioned you sometimes seem insecure with the lines,in this pic f.ex. the wall on the left. i see many little lines there as if you weren't sure how do make the wall straight(even if it isn't meant to be completely straight).
i mentioned it already in one of our last oc sessions...sometimes you need more security in your lines.....but it's already much better.keep it up. ![]()
