My Digital Caricature 1st Attempt

Hye friends....
I took 6hours for done this in painter essential 4.I wish i could color it as detail as the original colors.Anyone can gimme any tips or tutorial for make it better in the future artworks?
Another things is i still dunno how to texturing the skin.I dont have adobe photoshop software yet.Any tutorial for this too?

Hi Katon,

right now it looks like you need to work on your anatomy. The neck looks kind of weird.. like just a big blob. Also softening some of the edges of the cheeks and maybe the hair would gve it a little more depth. If it was a caricature, I would probably push the features that stands out more. It looks like she has big eyes, and wide smile. And for kids, usually if you give them a bigger forehead would make them look less like an adult.

I think it looks great! You might want to darken the edges of the forms as they turn away to give the picture more of a 3D feeling, but otherwise I wouldn't change a thing.
