DeviantArt Dreams Comepition: Thumbnail

I'm entering a competition over at deviantart which focuses on the theme of dreams. I want to do something that both incorporates dreams as one experiences it and dream analysis.

What I've come up with is a nightmarish/surrealist composition with Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung as surgeons about to operate in order to uncover the "hidden meanings" of a dream, I'm playing with either making it all B&W or sepia.... Any suggestions or critiques for the composition are all welcome, keep in mind that these were done very quickly.

To be honest it has so many problems and looks so sloppy/rushed, the only helpful thing I can say is to go take some time and do a cleaner/clearer line art and work on refining that before you jump into photoshop.

Maybe you don't need to do that because you know exactly where your going, and practiced with human anatomy, but if that's the case I wouldn't show this rough of a concept asking for crits. This might as well be a stick figure gesture drawing at this point, and there's no way for us to give meaningful helpful information.

Right now, it's just two guys standing over an operating table. We have absolutely no indication of the most nightmarish quality here - that Freud and Jung are delving into our subconscious.

It's not Freud and Jung that are scary (especially in their blob-like form right now) - it's their ideas that are scary and surreal and dreamlike.
