Chompo: 30.1.10 - Goodbye

Being influenced by guys like MindCandyMan and Miles and many more of you(!)
to open my sketchbook and make Lotss of mistakes to learn(:
I have my promise on my signature: Draw everyday, and post it here
(Until February - Army calls me!)

Hence the new sketchbook.
I haven't drawn for a few months, decided to take a breath and realize that
I'm (was..) a chicky-chicken.
I want to start fresh, hoping to get much help(:

My scanner work like.......well, it just doesn't!
So if you have tips on photographing my works, it would be a delight.

BTW, I'm 19 years old girl, realy busy with studies until December,
and will post later on some works

Posting some stuff from the last days, except posemaniacs & 1-2 mins portraits
All photos may be abit blurred.

*How do you attach files uploaded to CA, not using the the attached imgs?
I hope i'm not making a mess. teehee

- Fabrics: they are all the same one. Tried to shade as simple as possible.
In the first, I realized I am using way too much white in this dark fabric
- Some line portraits. I want to draw more from understanding =/
(DA people)
- Circl object lines
- Self portrait. I'm not manly, or have a swollen right mouth gotta practice!
Having troubles looking at the wall-mirror. Tips?
I realy want to make a self-portrait once in a while!

- And what I did today (hadn't had much time..a Huge test is coming)
Real blurred on the right.

I said I'll try to post everyday so..
With that being said..Nothing much to upload
Studied today...and at some point of the day, going to buy supply
a sudden stomach-ach attacked me. Just sat in weird poses
and drew winnie the pooh <_<

So this is a drawing I did in the dark.....I'm so smart
Couldn't see..heck..How do I draw with only a candle light?

I tried to a simple shading..but this is all wrong!
(Major levels-edit in photoshop

Hope you'll all have a nice week!

Maximunki Thanks!

Thought I'll have time today...But...so much homework. Well atleast I'm
reaching the end (13 December!)

So just quick studies today

-Just abit posemaniacs. I did alot today, thinking I'll have time for more..
But I did tried many ways.. which was great, but...geting out of the line figure
is so difficult.
- A quick pose, trying to apply abit of what I studied from bridgman(not realy showing)
-Abit of quick bridgman studies, I think I should put more effort and time on this
-Head quickies, a head in a minute. I do this everyday, but today I tried other
ways (getting features first, getting head structure first, scribbling, not scribbling)

Hey there Chompo!
I really like your portraits. The lines are beautiful and the scribliness of them adds a lot.
I want to see more though, and some more finished pieces as well!
Btw, I finished my Nick Drake Illustration. Tahnks again for the support! Remember, next week is going to be another MUSIC | ART Day!

Cheers

Images are dark cause I have no photoshop >:
(And every image seems brighter on the camera...)

I realy enjoy this type of shading (going around the form).
I'll improve with time though, and practice

Now I go do a 3.5 hours simulation test(meaning, there will be more), yay.

Nice studies? I think stronger values might be advisable, try maybe using charcoal or just some bigger pencils and really analysing shadows and lights.
I did a new Art-Music piece if you want to check it out. And I would be glad to get some new music suggestion, too!

Cheers

JanosDefinitly! blacks r needed. thanks.
I'm continuesly checking up on u. (:

Ok, Haven't uploaded in a long time cause I hoped my computer will be back, unfortonatly..it's not =/
Uploading photos and editing them in a crappy way, takes too long in this computer,
I ratter spend my time on drawing (duh, all I do is study, gotta break and draw!)

So, anyways, just a weird update from what I have managed to edit in an Ok way

-self portraits (quick ones, line one which tried it a diffrent way..bad) Arrg, why do I make myself manly
-Abit of figures, trying to notice proportions
-Weird sketch from today...felt Weird today. abit blurred, so hard to see.

Heya, nice stuff.
I have git a very similar problem like you, my scaner is broken and taking crappy pics of the stuff really isn't worth it. Your portraits need some basic values. shade them, even if only partially or very simple, so that they are rendered more clearly. Its great practise as well!

Cheers

I got my computer back, and I finished with the test
but I think there still will be time until i'll update, it gets so tiresome.
I am drawing everyday and that is the main thing!
Of course I want critics, But first I need to handle my fear of creating a finished piece.
So I'll post here and there, and hopefully a lot more soon(:

Thanks all!
I'll still be here to look and critic

Saying goodbye

So i'm recruiting, how exciting
Definitely won't have time to draw.. With my little spare time I have other things
to do.
I'm saying this with peace. I realized i want to draw as a hobby.. This time-period when I had so much time to draw, it drove me crazy.
Drawing is still really important to me, but it is not a main goal anymore.

This society is great! I really am glad to know it.
I hope it will continue to blossom(:

Thanks all.
