I know, I know, I've been talking about this for at least a year now. BUT... the Ft Lauderdale Sketch Group is finally a reality. I have leased out a small warehouse/bay for us to meet, and also arranged a pretty cool little coffee shop to hang out and draw. I know of a great park as well so those three places should be a great start.
Anyone interested in meeting on sunday afternoons to sketch and talk art is welcome to join us. At this time it looks like we'll have about 10-12 people to start, but I expect that number to grow once the word gets out. Let's just get started and see what happens. I think this will be a great opportunity to learn from one another and grow our skills together. Might even have some fun along the way.
First meeting will be January 22nd at 2:00pm in Ft Lauderdale. From there we can all discuss what times will work best for everyone. Anyone interested please send me a message for more info. I'll need to know how many people there will be so I can make arrangements with the coffee shop. Bring your sketchbooks!

Vision without action is a daydream, Action without vision is a nightmare.
