Hey everyone! So I figured that I might as well get a sketchbook going here, since I still have so much more to learn. My goal is being a concept artist/ Illustrator, I've always enjoyed the esthetic behind games and movies and I want to be a part of the creative process behind it all. The most fun that I have with art is that I can create my own stories and worlds, just by drawing. Though things have been going very slow for a while now and I need to step up my game to progress more.
I appreciate critique to the fullest, so don't be afraid! I can take it, just like Batman.

Love the Waterworld still. I think you are being a bit hard on yourself. You didn't fail maybe struggled (like we all do) and gave up too soon, but not failed. Kevin Costner looks great. I think you may have just lost the edges on your architectural elements and the value relationships between foreground a background a bit. Maybe just as an exercise look back at the color and tonal relationships between the edges of Kevin Costner, and the values behind him. You did a good job marking the prospective and figures in this scene now you just need to ask your self, "what is the relationship between the lightest light and darkest dark on Mr. Costner and the lightest light and darkest dark in the background?" Look closely at the edges between forms. This is all stuff I struggle with too some I'm right there with you. I think your work looks great and I hope to see more.

Thanks for the long reply! I totally agree. I had a stressful time with everything else around and gave up too soon and yes I might have lost my basics with it. Eager to finish and losing the purpose of the study! Thanks for the advice, stepping back and analyzing works wonders some times and I'll definitely try it out. You'll see more! Thanks again!
Haven't updated for a while due to being too stressed out! Been watching videos with Vilppu and trying to get some of his genius into my skull. Did some gestures for practice, I need to get some more dynamic poses into my pose-library! I've also been working on a post-apocalyptic biker dude taken from my sketchbook, which I rarely ever do.
Sick book! I like the waterworld paint.
Psychobuddy Hey thanks man, that means a lot! I've always felt very inferior in the color department. I get what you mean and it's not intentional, working too fast I guess! Thanks for stopping by.
Pete Hidalgo Double thanks mate!
Took a break from studies and did my own thing for a day. Felt good.
