A lot of great captains!
Agent Melon: I really like the gruffy commander type you have made.
My version is a bit less of a stoic leader and more of an impatient, restless character. Constantly on the prowl for weaknesses in the royal defenses, never wanting to be caught unawares.
@Obstfelder Thanks! Looking good so far, like the uniform design.
@BlackSnowman Love those Pauldrons!
@Pixeltuner Looks a lot better with the red, armor design is great too.
More blocking in, took away the hat, prefer him without it.
Alright, here's my last update for tonight.
@Agent Melon: Thanks, your captain is looks so official l
here's something I did tonight! =)
I put in a little bit of time in today. I'm gonna work on the futuristic gear tomorrow. This here is gonna be the base of my concept though.
some sketches and initial drawing
VictorQ and Naidy, thank you so much!!
Trucking along slowly.
here are some thumbnails i've made... i'm not really sure if i'll go whit some of these.. probably ill do some new ones..
Might take this one back to the thumbnail stage. Did a few sketches then started rendering out this one maybe a little prematurely. Thought I would share what I got so far... any thoughts/ suggestions? My first CHoW btw
Here's todays update yo!
Nayda thank you for the advice! I noticed it look a bit too much like a superhero, but I hadnīt time to change it.
anyway, I havenīt had mucho time to work on it, so just a little update. changed his clothes a bit, hope it looks less hero-ish now. I have more ideas, now I just need the time.
Ahh, cheers for the crit, Snowman. I brought the left arm in a bit. Mind you, that subtle boob bulge might have added some much needed sex appeal to my design
Lagarto: Yesss, separating that body suit into bits definitely improves the design. A shame you have such little time to work on it! I'm feeling the same way about mine. xD
It's mine (and my granddad's) birthday tommorow and I think I'm on the boat home come Sunday so I'm not sure I'll get that character design done on time or make this less messy, but damn It's been fun. Surprised I'd ever find interest in macho scifi guys but you know what, count me fully wronged.
Everyone's looking great. Fingers crossed I can post along with you lot on the finals.

Hello, just to be clear - this chow is male and humanoid, right?
Hey guys and girls, first time here ^^
some cool stuff in here!
i know i'm super late. but i'm gonna try and finish it in time.
so my first step did 5 thumbs. i would wanna do way more but i need to get some sleep.
i think i'm going to combine some ideas from all of them. posture and feel of number 2 bionic arm of number 3 etc.
feedback more then welcome.
UPDATE!!!! hopefully I get a chance to work on this more before the deadline but this has been fun all the same.
needs more future...
wow Naidy i love those colors man (:
solid works everyone else gj (:
Putting in some lights and shadows on my guard chief. I didn't want to give him so much cyborg-tech but I thought I'd give him some kind of a high tech eye prosthetic. Maybe he got it after loosing his real eye in a fight.
Anyway good job everyone.
