I'm 21yo guy who is going to study Game Art Design in 3 months, so I've decided that it's good moment to start my own sketchbook here!
Here is a still life and some sketches, from refs from http://www.lovecastle.org/draw/ , from today, all critic and comments welcome
Hello, and welcome to CA! Great studies so far, especially that skull. The nail polish is a good start to painting from life, but it's a little asymmetrical - try flipping the canvas when you're blocking it in to help alert you to symmetry issues early on. Keep up the good work!
dierat thanx for welcome! and for advice I'll keep it in mind doing next still life
Something from today:
just three quick studies from photos... didn't manage to do anything more as I bought my first xbox ...my art will suffer
Some today's sketches from Loomis, imagination and photo...
A good start - loomis` books are simply amazing. Keep it up.
I think that your paintings appear to blurry because you overuse
the airbrush brushes - take the good old hard round brush instead.
keep it up.
Klaustrophil: thanks Klaus! I'll use airbrush brush more cautiously
Here are some my recent digitals and tomorrow I'll upload some stuff from my traditional sketchbook
some sketches from my sketchbook and three digitals from today.
Hey,thanks for stopping by my sketchbook, I really dig your use of wet media on those moleskine pages and your ability to sketch from imagination which is an ability which i am finding very hard to develop. I would suggest however that you work on the confidence of your line in your pencil drawings.
jabbit - Thanks mate! That's not moleskine It's just random cheap sketchbook.. actually I need to get moleskine sketchbook cause that one I use has grainy, textured paper which makes lines look messy:/ Well I've been drawing from my imagination my whole life simultaneously overlooking the importance of drawing from life and now I have to make that up... And yeah, I need to work on my lines Anyway, thanks for visit
Here's some stuff from today:
