Absolutely killer sketchbook, gotta agree with Maolo though, i'd love to see more traditional sketchwork from you in the future. Your early updates that are mostly linework are gorgeous, and i love all the different experimentation ive seen. Hope you can share more soon!
asldjfasldfkj maaaann.... i dont even really know what to say, so i guess ill just say thank you! lol. i havent been this inspired in a long time. your art is fackin amazing. you are in my top three artist for inspiration. love your stuff, keep em comin!
0shade0: haha, I should now finish the painted version...
JaneMag: I know, me too, I think I'm wrong.
Farvus: too kind man, much appreciated!
Ahimsa: thank you, kind words indeed!
MatejaPetkovic: here you go, I am to satisfy
maolu: I do attempt to only use the filters where necessary, but I get what you're saying. Thanks for your support and advise!
AustenFM: and as if by magic! Here's more linework. Thanks!
ManHands: Thanks, that means a great deal!
so line work eh?
I always love these pages, they are like mazes of awesome.
and yes you should finish that painting I check your blog daily just so you know.
I won't say I love you, 'cause that would make things really really weird. But I like you quite a lot, good sir. Thank you for the non-stop stream of inspiration throughout the years! It is incredibly... inspirational! And motivational. Thanks again!
What kind of pens and paper are you comfortable using for images like the last one you posted?
Aryeh: clever but temperamental. Good guard-dogs apparently. Hmm, guard-dicks.
0shade0: thanks man, I can't update as often as I want these days. Thanks for the support.
Windmaker: Hey, I'm open-minded Thanks for all the support, I value everyone's interest greatly, makes it all worth while.
ManHands: The pen: cintiq21ux, the paper: sketchbook pro. I haven't used paper since 2007(ish).

Awesome linework! Oh and congrats on the may edition of imagine fx tutorial too! Seem to see your stuff everywhere lately man. I love the brushes on sketchbook (using trial for now) but how do you work with it so well? There doesn't seem to be much variation in terms of flow or opacity when I use it. Keep it coming Salaryman!
Wow. Thanks for the video. I love your style, clean and energetic lines. Reminds me of Katsuhiro Otomo's stuff. Great sense of humor too .
ah cool! nice to have a video.
I would also love to see a video of one of those sketchpages, but that might make it stressing?
Since it's like a bit of therapy for you, I don't feel like pushing you to do one.
DanijelC: thanks, yeah he was a big influence back in the day (and still is!)
0shade0: we'll see, but as you've pointed out I may find the process too rigged. I also don't work on them flat out, I use them as warm-ups etc. 30-40 min here and there.
aspenboy: cool, yeah as I mentioned to 0shade0, the process itself may be a bit restrictive (capturing the drawing itself I mean). But if there's the interest out there...
ikuru: cheers man, it's Fuck Buttons and Lisbon Maru.
some very rough sketches. sketchbook pro.
aargh too awesome
awwwwwwww shit yeah
Dude man sir, I am a big fan, and I must tell ya, you should do your own thing. Forget about games (no disrespect), your art is magic by itself, for the sake of art, waiting to get my hands on your first publication. (would that be the first?)
Beside givin' you major props I wanted to ask a question. I would really love to know who are the artists that inspire you? First seeing your art like a year ago or so, I started getting into comics, and found quite a few worthy inspiring artists, specially some of the older ones, but I bet you have some to suggest
kidult: haha, thanks!
0shade0: many thanks for the support sir!
trevor: yeah, Bobo kicks arse.
xyphid: many, many thanks for the kind words. Your sketchbook is fantastic, best of luck and more power to you too sir! I have a massive list of comic artist heroes, but here's the major guys for me: Bill Sienkiewicz, Moebius, Katsuhiro Otomo, Mike Mignola, Mick McMahon, Cam Kennedy.
For those who missed it or can't get the disc, here's a slightly abridged and hyperspeed version of that workshop. Yep that's right, everything else I'm working on is still NDA!
Always cool to see someone drawing digitally. Most artists that do fine line art seem to prefer to do it with a pencil. I assume you're using a cintiq which probably makes it bit easier compared to a regular tablet.
