I have been working on this guy for a little while. Hoping to get some feedback on it. I know my backdrop is incredible weak, I dont know how to make it better though.. Hopefully I can get some solid feedback on that.
Additionally, anatomy and that I am still working on, so feel free to tear it apart (try to be nice though!). I will try to look at it objectively with you guys
I will keep fighting the good fight and continue working n my fundamentals.
Yeah the anatomy is just a mystery to me, I think you did her legs right though! The coloring could use some blending and I think you could venture into some different hues, but I like it. Your shading is good, I get a sense of space on her legs and bust. It looks like you sorta stopped above her neck though XP Her face and hair are kinda flat.
It's like you have all the pieces it's just a matter of putting them together. I say you do some anatomy studies, gestures, quick stuff and the like and work from there
Just as arenhaus said. There aren't flaws jumping at us, you just need to get better at the basics in order to improve it.
Except a few small things. aliM mentioned the flat face and hair... And her clothes seem to be painted on around her neck. I think the clothes could use more work in general. Just like her right hand.
Well it's much better than seeing a painting with elements at way different level. Just keep working on clothes, anatomy, lighting, coloring, whatnot.
