Here's a Zorn master study. I found it quite difficult, all those saturated yellows and oranges next to greys. I can't seem to figure out where to use greys in the skin tones from these studies, it just seems like they blobbed them on at random to me!
Teapot still life on a yellow fluorescent jacket. I couldn't pick colours bright enough to represent the highlights on it, it was also pretty difficult because it was right in front of my monitor and the yellow was reflecting on it! 2nd is a Fetch master study.
I've been reading books focusing on heads recently, Loomis' Drawing the Head and Hands, Bridgman's head methods and Hogarth's Drawing The Human Head. I'll need to go through them a few more times to get the information to stick.. But here's a wizard guy.
You are showing signs of rapid progression, really cool to see I´m also struggling with anatomy and the human face at the moment, you´re studies and work are truly inspirational!

Great progress so far, looking better . Keep it up!
Phewwww, it has been a while since I updated this, I'm gonna keep it up to date from now on though!
These first 2 pieces are pretty old, the orc is over a year and the soul collector dude was from a CHOW ages ago.
Random sketch page from the other day
Self portrait sketch from the other day
These last 2 pieces are new, I'm going to make it into a trilogy of environments and probably make them available as prints.
Cheers for looking!
