Damn you JoshuaTheJames for posting in that Final Images-Thread. Nearly got a heart attack to see your entry and then you just request this very thread
Very nice drawing, Bretton. Extremly well executed with a nice style. That's how i'd love to see badass beetlejuice again
First of all, it is nice to now have a place to comment on the fantastic entries that are sure to be rolling in!
Second, thank you Hanuka I am really glad you like it.
And now to comment on entries I dig!
McNallyism: Beautiful, Miss Piggy is disgusting. You make me wish I wasn't terrified of color.
Meme: Really nice movement! The sparks look really nice.
arghmisfit: That's quite a Carebear! You are certainly showing a lot of improvement, keep it up.
JOSHUATHEJAMES: I was really excited to see your Thunderdome piece. I am filled with anticipation!
Some comments from I.
Mcnellyism: Just a joke entry? sheesh, Can't wait to see the real one
Meme:Cool pic, I just don't know what cartoon it's from. I like the sparks.
bretton: Nice drawing. I never knew there was a beatle juice cartoon.
Oolong Boartusker: That is totally awsome, I think it would make for an awesome cartoon.
I'm trying to think... but nothing happens.
Miltonmaniac: I like your rendering. well caught likeliness. the character is lacking a bit of motion and life though
DRESDEN: Nice, i love the colours, just the muscles seem a bit exaggerated. Your reference-link is broken btw.

Okay, I'm recieving word that my pic can't be seen in the Tunderdome section, but when I log on, I can see it fine. Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?
Okay, I give up. This sucks. If anybody cares, my entry can be found here:
(I really wanted to enter this one too...)
Here's some info about the charactrer for those who see it.
Character: Nemesis enforcer
Story: Character from G.I.Joe movie. Globulus raised him from a pile of dead things. His clothes are living crustaceans.
Go to yojoe.com for character cards.
I'm not sure, but I don't think Tripod allows external linking, could be wrong though... Try Photobucket. It's free, and usually seems to work...Originally Posted by Lurchus_OriliosOkay, I'm recieving word that my pic can't be seen in the Tunderdome section, but when I log on, I can see it fine. Yeah, I tried. They're not allowing new accounts right now. I tried geocities, it didn't work either. So I guess I'll just have to sit this one out. Thanks anyway.
Thanks guys, I think it worked... , but then again, I never had a problem seeing the pic.
Can someone let me know if it didn't show up?
Holy Schlamoly, Fozzy!
I laughed so hard, milk came out of my nose, and I haven't had any milk since last night! I love the character and the background (the sketches make a fantastic, chaotic miasma), but the walking demo just touches a different plane. It taps the funny bone of my soul.
whoa...seriously Foz' I'd totally watch Beetlejuice again if it relaunched with that design....it like...wreaks of attitude and charm. Rock on!
Encouragement keeps me swimming , even in the undertow of disappointment.
thanks guys (n gals?) !!!

thank you guys...it's nice to hear this comments...at least until the big fishes enter the pond...then my beetle juice will do his initials to survive amongst the killers....
boy, you really improved since you entered ca, i tell you...this is one killerpiece indeed!!! cool stuff!!!
Wow, Skeletor sure is the popular one it seems. Seeing Evileye's and Hurricane's really makes me wish I had a wacom. Oh, well, my birthday's coming up. Maybe then. Great work everyone, there's some real classics showing up in here.
Great work guys.... Cheeks: great characters as usual, Al-x: love your ideas, Danillo: thats pretty funny!, EssenmitSosse: like the skeletor in goulish fashion, Artguy: Wow, love the rendering of the shirt and Velma looks hot!, Patrick: Great work on the "tremor" looking beast coming out from the ground, Bimdog: That a great rendition of the cat, too bad you didnt finish it, Xia: You did wonders for that cartoon.. I love the masks, costumes and coloring, just wonderfull! Keep up all the good work..
incredible pieces, I'm just pissed my scanner doesnt work and everyone's doing he-man stuff (especially skeletor).:/
doesnt affect the high quality of your submissions anyway. hope to get my freakin saber riders ready in time
You stole the show right now Dougbot!
i have to announce i'm sorry i can't participate on this thunderdome(argh when there finally was another one-where are the results of the last?),for the first because i'm going on short vacation with my parents and thus don't have time, and for the second because i was born in 1985 and didn't get much of the 80s per se.
thank you for your short attention.
Max_cant that Trapjaw is incredibly inspiring. It's BY FAR one of the most impressive things that I've ever seen on these boards. Thanks for sharing the thought process behind what went into the design - I think we ignore that side of things in favour of explaining the techinical elements of how a design was rendered.
Brilliant, brilliant stuff mate.
As far as I'm concerned, you are kicking arse in a massive way.
See the sights!
Check out environment of the week - it's top!
JeffZNY: heh, awesome. Seems like nobody else remembers it, until the see a pic from the show, and then it's all "ooooooooooh, yeah, I think I saw this...." Glad you know what it is.
vigostar: Hey thanks. I'll disagree, but I am pretty happy with them. Thanks again.
Updated my pic. Wish this had been at a different time. So busy at work, but it's paying off . Guild Wars is getting good press, which is cool. Some really cool entries so far in this, can't wait to see what's added this weekend!
mine is stuck between 2 of the best entries. you jerks. hey! quit elbowing me! hey!
I self-published a book on the fundamentals of drawing from life.
Great googly moogly, l.p.Matt!
That is fantastic! I don't know which color I like more; each has such a different feeling (let's see... I'll wear this one in the morning with the humming bird pin and this one at Nancy's party tonight with my big hat!).
