Hey fellow CA people.
I'm Jarrod Cornforth and im primarily a graphic designer, though I do a bit of
sketching/drawing, doodling and painting.
Ive pretty much taught myself how to draw, since high school art, and that was ages ago but Ive been focused on more design since then. And the past few years on and off tinkered with digital painting primarily though Open Canvas, and now in Photoshop.
My reason for starting this thread is to start anew, as I have become frustrated with the errors i notice in my works as I do them, and wish to start back at square one with the fundamentals, looking at loomis. And in hopes of doing this find my definite personal style, that doesnt change as much as i change my undies.
One last thing to, I am interested in the human face and this is obivious from my work. I want to get better at portraits and things like caricatures.
Ok now with the images.
Nice sketches! Looking from the first post up to the last, I mean looking at all of them made me say that you are improving, just keep on practicing and you'll soon be the best! Thanks for sharing!
nice start ,you have somee good head drawings but you should study more proportion of the head and the the placement of features and it's better to do master copies than study from photo
