I've sort of always grown up with art. I had a ton of art lessons as a kid, but I was mostly told to just go sit and put such and such stroke at such and such place. A lot of my background is in traditional media, mostly pencil/paper sketches. I'm sure some of the theory seeped into me somehow, but when drawing, I mostly go by intuition, and I feel like that's just not getting me anywhere.
Anyway. Here I am now. I'm in first year of university, heading towards a bachelors in science and dreading it.
I want to get (a lot) better at art.
HOPEFULLY, I'll be able to post two pieces a week?
/insert some old stuff and new stuff/

Well... that was for a project. I choose that topic (architecture) to focus on urban things and objects. I never did those things and I also never worked with colors, before I went to CA.Huh. Really? That's messed up. Oh well. I'll bother you often, so you can link over anytime you want. XD And I asked about the drafting stuff because I did it before (not professionally), and it looked familiar.
Yeah, I use that, too. But I've made myself a little 60 second soundtrack in a playlist with other music. I count myself down, so I'm always about 50 to 80 seconds at one figure. The little Things I drew in was to remind myself of major muscles and bones. And you by yourself are the most critical person, I watched over your sketches and I think they are really good, just keep up practicing. Btw, great color pieces are in here. I'd be happy to here more from you, bro! =)I've been (trying) to do 60s sketches at posemaniacs, because they have a program that switches the picture every 60s. I find that I can't capture the details. How are you doing that?
Great work in here that pineapple look tasty
Like your 60 sec pieces too, iv'e been doing some of these and mine look mostly the same, Will post some in my SB when i get round to it.
Like your final for teen challenge also and hope you particpate next week, know i will be cos i have a week off from school
Keep at it, you've got some great work here
Yeah, I saw the changes since I'm doing it this way, just give that a try, very easy to organize (Audacity etc... KLICK ME!).That's brilliant! I always had this sense of unease with posemaniacs, because I was always thinking I'd run out of time any second.
I will, you're right. The rendering etc. was for school, I will work that more out in the net days and post it here. And now I'll do some sketches ;)I like the colour choices for the phone. Watch out for your perspective. The lines don't seem to converge properly...?

Augh. So bad at choosing colours.
You should update your sketchbook more!
I like your paintings especially...
