I wanted to share a sculpture I recently finished!
It's the small cretaceous theropod, Scipionyx samniticus. It's 1:1 scale and features one side showing the bones and musculature with the other side being fleshed out. Originally sculpted in wax and cast in resin. Kits are available: contact Sara@SaraRichard.com
One of my favorite dinos! I would love feedback and critiques!
Painted by Sara Richard.

nice piece. I would have loved to see some of the skeleton of the arm exposed too.
Soooooo cool!!Maybe the arms seem too strong imho, but I love the fact that you put the hands in the accurate position, facing each other.
Beautifully sculpted and painted.
Great work ! Really cute
Fantastic work! I love, how you have paid attention for the accuracy! I have planned to do similar muscle study dinosaur model.
Beautiful work Sara! It's an odd blend of adorable and educational. Love it!

It's so cute! Which makes the muscle have look really creepy in comparison! Great sculpt. I've always enjoyed skeletal/muscle/anatomy diagrams.

"I started to see human beings as little lonesome, water-based pink meat, life forms pushing air through themselves and making noises that the other little pieces of meat seemed to understand."
Thank you very much everyone!
I agree that looking at it again the arms seem a bit strong. And more bone showing thru in the arm would've been cool.
Thank you guys for looking and the critiques!
