As of 2010, I am a sophomore/rising junior in illustration at the Rhode Island School of Design. I had a sketchbook here, but I hadn't updated it in about a year and a half, and it had a bunch of stuff from high school in it, so I decided it was time to start fresh. (here's the link to my old sketchbook for the curious: http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=125334)
Not sure what I want to do career-wise yet. I'm thinking editorial, but I don't know. I'm here to supplement my education--the more I learn about art, the more I realize how much I have to improve. Its always good to hear new voices, critique away!
Anyway, here's some stuff: (the second one is a master copy of a drawing by Thomas Eakins)
hey guys here's some new stuff. Sketches and a finished illustration for my editorial class--about coyotes moving into urban areas. I got kind of a mediocre crit, so I would appreciate any advice on how to polish it further. (It's traditional mixed media colored digitally).
P.s. according to Google analytics, a bunch of the traffic on my portfolio website is coming from here! Thanks guys, I'm glad you're interested in my stuff!
