Thanks dermgmeister, Barts, Samantha, Agarwaen, smokenmirrors, clanlord, bounchfx and Norg. Your compliments have been very kind.

RoboBobo— Thanks. I've become accustomed to having line art in my work bc I've been focused on comics art for so long. But I've been trying to get back to my painting roots, so I've started selectively color over areas of the line art to make the rendering feel more natural. Like in this Dethklok pict, I painted over the lines in Nathans left hand and Mordhaus so it softened against the sky and pulled into the background better.

xinranliu—Thanks, It's all digital, the line art was drawn in Photoshop. I'm just glad that PS can rotate the canvas now, it's helped allot with the drawing flow.

Nice.
I think you've pretty much captured the Dethklok essence here.

Album cover indeed! It has the properties of a good one for me: eye-catching yet can be stared at for a long time looking at the detail.

Thanks Lotet.

Thanks Hungrysparrow. Yes, I had found his website and sent him a link to the image, although I'd be pretty surprised if I received a response, I'm sure he gets inundated with emails.

I'm not sold on the subject, but your rendering is brilliant. One slight crit is that the values all over the pic are very similar.

Request

I'm planning on getting a Deathclock sleeve, would it be possible to adapt and get your artwork inked on my arm?

Hahahahaha this is great. The subtlety of the details is very nice (like that panther in the sky). Just keeps you looking at it forever! Great job.

This all kinds of bad-ass. I'd love to have a desktop sized-version!

Thanks ParanoiaArtist, Duman, Murr, and Blitz

John Bridges, vanille, thanks. I do have a larger (but prob not large enough) version of this on deviantart.

knightp2002, thanks. I don't have any problem with you having this adapted into a sleeve.

Thanks Janos, I had waffled some with giving more contrast to the foreground, eventually opting for the flatter version you see here. But I may play with it some more, once I've been away from it for a longer period.
