The New Giants

these are a couple of acromegaly studies we've been working on to go with the barbarian from comic-con. in my mind I think they are probably a young Oled , Laup and Motsn Iva from the Easter Island Giant piece that did not come out. more pics coming later . thanks for looking

It must be hard being the littlest giant. You are a giant after all, but all the other giants pick on you and laugh...

Aris -

You are the man.
Here is the reworked Komodo King face, a couple of test runs for the Gnomon stuff, and a Barlowe Thype bust study

These are lovely sculptures! Have you hardened these in multiple steps in oven, or is it soft all through the model? How long on each character?

A gang of giants have banded together to save some bears while bad dudes get bonked hard in the face.

I've always liked giants and one night recently I went kind of google/acromegaly nuts and these studies are the result, they need more weapons but I'm just trying to get the different body types kind of resolved at this point. thanks for looking

Alex!

Thank you so much for the book and the drawings, I just saw them and your book was amazing , I have a whole new respect for the monsters you are creating, page after page of cool ideas. thanks again

Baard

hey whats up , probably 20 hours into each ? maybe 30 I try not to even think about I kind of go by days I think. We do bake them in a conventional oven at about 220 degrees. This clay is Sculpey Firm and I bake them for about an hour, then let it cool way down, and start working on it again.hope that helps. you can check out our forum for polymer clay talk @ shiflettbrothers.com

That's a nice look'n bunch there. Keep up the good work. And how come you don't have your live sculpting on Wednesday nights anymore?

B.O.L.

I enjoy the webcast I will definitely get it going again , I find the Justin.tv site to have a lot of consistent glitches that are irritating , I would like to find a webcast site a hair better.

Your welcome Jarrod, you are also a great inspiration for me.

I really appreciate your giants, I know you will updated them at a time or another.
I think it would be great if they could have few pieces of armors..

I love gaints too. LOL

Nice work. Very realistic and full of character. I especially like the biggest one with his facial features and strange but realistic anatomy.
