Cool! good to be back amongst the passion! THere is SOOOOOO much great work going on here, I'm sure whether I want to cry or or just spend all week going through pages of threads getting motivated. The reviews are going to be fun (actually they have started) If not difficult. Always difficult to critique work that is beyond your own

Here are more recent works as well as some old thumbnails and sketches. The black and white sketch of the blindfolded women and children was for a National Geographic article that never saw print. The blue thumbnails are my favorite past time, no agenda just doodle. The black and white thumbnails were for the Boneshaker cover, which is the first peace in the beginning of my thread, and two more covers.

Looking forward to talking with some of you on Friday.

This stuff is so good it almost hurts to look at. I can't take it all at once, it's too beautiful.

It seems like I ought to pay you for even letting me look at these. I could probably stare at each one of these for hours and still not get bored of them.

Thank you so much for posting, I can't believe I've never seen your stuff before. Your website is a gold mine as well.

These are awesome!

I actually have the Boneshaker piece set as my wallpaper. It's good to see the entire thing, as Tor.com only has it cropped.

I love the guy running from the squid, best way to tell a story I've ever seen.

Inspiring as always Jon. A wonderful mind you got in your boney fishtank.
Was getting worried about ya big guy, thought you fell off the earth for a bit.
That "Museum of Thieves" illustration is top shelf.
Good to have you back around sir.

heh..... they're okay.... I guess

jk, i love your work. when I look at your illustrations, I get dragged in that world; every piece is so rich and intense. I could stare at your work for hours and it wouldn't feel like Im staring at a painting, but I am submerged in whatever situation it depicts.

With the Fields of Stars piece, it looks like you deliberately warped the perspective. Any chance that you could explain why you did that?
