@ clockworksnail - Thanks! All of my work comes from my head, although I do look through animal books constantly so Im sure a lot of it sticks. When I start to draw a creature its seldom that I use reference for poses, but I do look at reference for certain characteristics like texture and pattern. Im also interested in behavior influencing the evolution of a species so I read about animals a lot haha...do I make sense?... ..sorry Im rambling

The art reminds me of the creatures from Dougal Dixon's After Man: A Zoology of the Future, which was based on imaginative extrapolations of future evolution from presently existing animal species.

Dahami - I am somewhat familiar with that book. I've seen it only twice although I'd really like to own it! I do base a lot of my design on animals that do exist and behavoirs that people are familiar with. I believe it keeps the creatures relatable.

Awesome. Not only creative imagination but also very life-like detail. And obviously you have a lot of knowledge about animals. Keep at it!

Hey, so, i looked through your blog.
it's cool. sort of relaxing just looking through,
i lso read that you are actually trying to publish a book, which is seriusly cool.(i didnt realise in my previous comment, but i meant what i said about buying it)

one thing tho, apart from the 'Gigatus', have you created any large carnivore species? i think you should. maybe that 'bala' thing u refer to in one of the paragraphs?

anyways, im probly actinlg like some kinda annoying stalker or something, so i will shh now,
cya!

Really awesome creature concepts! You get them to fit all so nicely they look like they could have existed. I know a lotta people who try to make creatures up but they wind up making them look really lopsided and not feasible, these are very realistic. Nice!

Hey there, I remember you from QHHS...dunno if you remember me, we met kinda briefly, but it was in Mrs. Tremonti's room and you were working on a dragon piece. I've seen some of your work in Dixon's class too. What're you up to these days?
