Cool stuff mate! Love the colors from your Art Crusade entry.
I can see a huge improvement from you.
I haven't had time to go through the whole thread, just the last few pages, but what I've seen is fantastic so far. Your recent environments are inspirational! I love the inferno. :3
As inspiring as usual!! The face study appeals me most, very interesting.
BTW, I am not sure about the exact translation, but..
搖旗吶喊三十年==> Yelling and waving the flag for thirty years.... I am surprised that you chose a book as a sketch book.
Unsharpened - thanks for that translation! i've been wondering what it could mean.. and yes it does make sense, considering where i got it from (oooh mystery), thanks for the kind words!
Excuisite Beast - thanks! you got me wondering about the face structure, so i went and reffed a skull, and put it over the paint.. there's something wrong about her allright, but definitely not the jawbone being too short
thanks for pointing this out though! a great trigger for a study, and hopefully some gained insights on my part. good crit!
Alright, you win. I'll do the damn studies. You're last couple of updates have just been upsettingly awesome. I'll try to update soon for ya man. See ya in the suck.
/me licks thumbnails.
Nice paintings , your colors are always a little strange but still beautiful!
The thumbs are nice too.
You mean to say you sketched all these without writting Parrots first??! Unheard off.
Love the blue floor with the kid on it! Gorgeous feel to it.
And your tree made me laugh*
Well you know the offer still stands. Have my babies and all that.
Great work buddy! Keep it up I'd say, but the tree is doing that for ye already.
Ps Love the CityScape with red sky. Very clean and PRO.
He who Sacrifices security for Freedom, deserves None.
(TV is the Spawn of the DEVIL!)
very inspiring sketchbook. I really love your use of colors.
really impressed with the green-yellow ship piece, you handled the focus extremely well
Heya Hyver, was cool to meet you in Germany. We didn't get to talk much but was great seeing you work on some of that stuff above.
On to the Belgian Workshop
Marvelous, love the pencil sketch specially.
Actually I feel sorry for the drawing on the textbook, it should be somewhere more decent, it's a nice one. Nice composition, too. The perspective is something I should really work on.
