Nice gestures Nikhil !
About ur first digital illustration..nice angle and compostion..but frankly speaking..this looks kinda unfinished to me..and there r few anatomical and colour perspective issues as well..just my observation..pls dont mind..i could be wrong.
About digital works...u need to use different brushes and keep surfing this forum...there r lots of amazing digital works u can see..
and some traditional medium practise will help u a lot.
Keep posting !!

Thanks Shyam The Renaissance has started...Have gone back to the basics...Learning with a different perspective. Will definitely post something in color later on, for now it's just daily sketching...and also some doodles...
My first take on Creature Creation...goin back & learning from the basics has certainly help me a lot in looking at the world differently, now i want to experiment much wider in the sense in variety...Creatures, Environments and Daily Sketching to start with...Thanks Shyam and CA
Please feel free to comment on it...

hyenaman: Thanks! for now just getting a hang of it...will do model sheets of some of them for you to animate later
hells angel: Thank you! yes definitely will b posting on a regular basis! Where's ur Work/Sketchbook?
Shyam: Thanks for Encouragement!!!
Doudou: Good to see your work! i suggest you create a sketchbook of your own so that all at CA shud b able to post their reply/feedbacks in it. Moreover you yourself can see your over a period of time by your own effort as well as the constructive criticism/compliments given by the artists who'll visit ur sketchbook. For Starters go thru the primary stuff suggested by the moderators, which will clear off many things, eventually making u focus on some aspect of ur work.
Here are some more of creatures...
sweeeet..confused rooster in the bottom page...
imagine a totally realistic body and simple cartoony face...ha ha
i bet it's already experimented by someone else, hyenaman.
Anyway, here is one of my wip creature...it's a bugger with self defence mechanism at the back of it's tail, haven't finalized anything yet... and some experiment done in color (in which i'm not good)...
and some layouts...wips in sketchy format
nice lines , good work . keep posting to see more.
[ DRAW OR DIE ]
Some excerpts from my notepad...more doodling, creatures and others
and some more of that...

Interesting sketchbook. The gesture drawings look great: good sence of shape. Would be even better if you could refinge your linework.
Keep on going.
Oops Sorry! forgot to acknowledge u guys in the last posting...
Thanks Pardip, Stupidity'sUglyHead for visiting and commenting...
And also Bartovan, thanks for the appreciation...
this sketch is a caricature of my friend Nirmal (who adores Hip-Hop), there were many titles suggested by my other friends like "Right said Ferret", "Hip-Hop ferret", "i'm too sexy for my fur"...
