Hi guys this is my first thread. I drew this sketch in 30 min, I know that the anatomy of the lizard creature is not that good, but if you could give me your overall opinion to the sketch i would apretiate it.
My honest opinion? It looks exactly like you scribbled
out a quick sketch in under 30 minutes and nothing more than that.
If you would like us to take the time to crit a piece at least submit
something that you have put some effort into.
For now I would suggest you start drawing some real objects and real
people. It will help you improve on your fantasy pieces as well. You need
a much stronger understanding of anatomy as well as rendering a believable
sense of form and other elements that make for a successful picture.
Remember when drawing imaginary creatures, you should still reference them against
actual living creatures. In the case of your lizard man, check out photos
of things like komodo dragons, monitor lizards and crocodiles and try
to capture some of those real elements in your piece.
If I may ask, how old are you?
Btw im working on a more workedout piece this minute.
It will be up shortly.
