I went for a smaller dragon design.
here we go. dragon rider with flail
The last of her tribe, Ku-Asra has seen the transformation of her people from a nomadic band of raiders, their rise to a mighty empire, and their final splintering into many squabbling nations. She has seen the world when it was young and bursting with magic, and fought in the Sundering Wars where the magic died. She has been present for the birth of science and marked its ascendance, from the first experiments with a dropped weight to the beginning bold forays of humans into space.
Now, she fights in one galactic conflict after another. The issues and the nations are a matter of indifference to her; she fights because that is what she does best, and because, while the methods and tactics have changed, the rush is still the same. Her armor and weapons are of dragonsteel, alloyed from Ku-Maralik's shed scales collected laboriously over lifetimes, custom-constructed by the best engineers nations can buy. Ku-Maralik wields claws and lasers with her, made with dragonsteel components to avoid the stifling effect of dragon magic.
Also wrote some random snippets here that are too long and irrelevant to post. Ended up leaving out the marine due to time constraints. Thanks for the challenge! Was a good learning experience. Great to see all the good everyone else is bringing, too!
Couldn't finish the background but at least I finished the rider and his dragon.
In this time, there are multiple dragon riders scattered across the globe.
He doesn't wear fancy armor or gear, but he's known throughout the west for guns that can take down a bison in a single shot. He carves the core of the bullets from shed dragon talons and fang, making them much stronger than traditional bullets.
Thank you very much to our Lovely CHoW Mod for all her hard work putting this together every week!
Here is my Dragon Rider and Dragon.
Her Dragon and she have fought together since birth,
and they have the scars and skills to prove it...
Didn't have the time to pull together a proper character sheet for the dragon, unfortunately...
Thanks everyone who joined in on this CHoW, it was a fun one!
Yajmon Dragon Rider. I really like my character sheet. Dragon was a design off one of my ones.
My character has the name of Dragon Overlord. A dragon warlord with the abilities to summon dragons from afar to aid in combat.
Hey, great round guys, much fun !
My entry. Ran out of time as usual.
It was a lot of fun, great topic !
no time for colours unfortunately, due to a combination of procrastination and lack of time, so here it is in black and white (not quite finished but pretty close), with a shitty character sheet.
Had fun this round, and enjoyed watching everyone else's entries as well!
Thanks for the amazing chow this week, here comes my serpentine white dragon!!! hope not to late, i am really bad with timezones!!
Sorry the character sheet is kinda crappy

So many great pieces to compete with!
Although both dragon and rider are blessed with immortality they are not invulnerable, and after centuries of warfare have been forced to enhance themselves to keep their shambling, broken bodies fighting.
P.S. Great job everyone!

azathi tribe dragon rider
the azathi tribe dragon riders are bonded from birth; their bond is often so strong, that it is impossible to tell where the human begins and the dragon ends. the rider's primary tast is to keep assilants off the dragon when it is in flight, as a dragon at full speed can hardly afford any antics to get pests that have managed to board him off and away from it's vital areas.
